September 27th, 2023 is Rowan’s Law Day

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport is recognizing Rowan’s Law Day on September 27th to honour the memory of Rowan Stringer, a 17-year old athlete who died as a result of head injuries that she had sustained while playing rugby. It is also intended to raise awareness about concussions and promote concussion safety in sport.
