Crysler ― The Ontario government is providing the Township of North Stormont with $200,00 in funding through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) Capital grant stream. This investment will be used to install an accessible playground structure at Crysler Park, improving safety, inclusivity, and shared play opportunities for children and caregivers of all abilities.
“Whether it’s enjoying the swing set or racing down the slides, SDG’s playgrounds are where long-lasting memories are made,” said Nolan Quinn, MPP for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry. “With our government’s investment, the new playground at Crysler Park will ensure that every child in SDG can access a safe place to play and enjoy the outdoors right in our own community.”
OTF’s Capital grant stream helps organizations improve their infrastructure so they can continue delivering programs and services that Ontarians need to thrive. Whether it’s purchasing equipment, building a new space or completing renovations, retrofits or repairs, these grants support projects that are making a difference in SDG.
The Capital grant stream is part of the government’s plan to protect Ontario by investing in community infrastructure, supporting local organizations and creating the conditions for long-term economic growth and prosperity.
