Ontario Expanding Self-Serve Online Vehicle Registration

Kaleed Rasheed, Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery, announced that our government is expanding the online Digital Dealership Registration (DDR) system to include used cars. This will make it easier and more convenient for Ontarians to buy and sell vehicles.

Did you know? Ontario has over 8,000 new and used car dealerships!

Dealerships can use DDR, an online, self-serve tool to register vehicles and issue permits and plates directly to customers, right from the sales floor. DDR:

• Digitizes the vehicle registration process
• Cuts red tape for businesses
• Reduces paperwork
• Saves time and money
