Ontario Establishes First New Conservation Reserve in Over 10 Years
David Piccini, Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, announced Ontario’s first new conservation reserve in over 10 years to:
- Strengthen the protection of wildlife
- Provide recreational opportunities including hiking and birdwatching
- Encourage the restoration of various species at risk
